Brand strategy for large scale global landscape restoration
The world’s landscapes and ecosystems are degrading at an unprecedented pace. Commonland has developed the 4Returns framework to build resilient landscapes, restore healthy ecosystems and create regenerative businesses for generations to come.
Over the past 6 years, founder Willem Ferwerda together with his diverse team and influential network, have worked tirelessly to build and prove their framework and kickstart landscape restoration projects in over 8 countries. Now it is time to scale up and extend the 4 Returns framework into a global movement restoring 100 mio. hectares of land by 2040.
This requires a strong brand foundation, a marketing & communication strategy and professional team able to share their important work with the world.

Revising Commonland’s brand positioning and visual identity
- Building a marketing & communication strategy and plan
- Leading and growing the MarCom team
- Briefing and selecting an in-and external creative team
- Developing and implementing the new Commonland website and booklet
